It took approximately 4 days for it to start absorbing and I noticed that there was liquid in the bottom of the bag. I had hung it in my bathroom. A week later, there is about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the bag so it is doing its job. I am very pleased with this product and will be ordering it again. I bought the 6-pack.
